Einblicke in das Königreich Norwegens.
Die nordische Hauptstadt Oslo zeigt sich mir vorest, winterlich kalt und nordisch dunkelblau. Die Temperatur ist tatsächlich nur halb so hoch wie in Zuerich beim meinem Abflug,Ende Mai.
Trotz den knapp 670000 Einwohnern, kommt das Gefühl, sich in einer Grossstadt zu befinden, nicht richtig auf.
Die eher tief errichteten Gebäude sowie die vielen Grünflächen und Freiräume, geben viel Platz zum atmen. Die erwartete Grossstadt-Hektik bleibt so fast gänzlich aus. Oslo ist zudem flächenmässig nicht riesig, sodass entspannt Überlick behalten werden kann.
Nichtsdestotrotz gibt es allerlei zu bestaunen und besonders viele, gute Kaffeehäuser, mit einer Atmosphäre, die sowohl zum Genuss als auch zum stressfreien Freelancer Arbeiten einlädt. Die neue osloer Oper ist ein absolutes Highlight. Generell ist der gesamte neue Teil Oslos, wo sich früher der Industrie Hafen befand, sehr empfehlenswert. Das Astrup Fearnly Museum sowie das Edward Munch Museum sind ein absolutes Muss für Kunstinteressenten (oder die, die es noch werden wollen). Das 'Grünerløkka' uartier bietet viele kleine Shops und schöne Cafés, zum Entdecken und reinschauen. So auch "Mathallen Oslo", wo Snack und Apéro genommen, aber auch wundervoll dinniert werden kann. Hingehen!
Sensationell ist auch der Botanische Garten, wo die Stunden vergehen wie schmelzende Truffés.

Insights into the norwegian Kingdom.
The nordic capital Oslo, is freezing cold. Compared to my departure city Zuerich, where sunny 30 degrees were measured the same day. The temperature here is only half as high.
Despite it´s 670000 inhabitants, the feeling of being in a metropole does not really arise. The city seems calm, without hints of hectic and stress. Due to Oslos many green parks and free spaces, one has the feeling of breathing slow and relaxed. Oslo does not occupy a huge area (geographically) and the buildings are rather low, which makes it easier to keep an overview.
There are countless things that are worth to be seen and visited. I found many inspiring Cafés, where enjoyment and freelance work can be wonderfully combined.
The new Opera is an absolute highlight. In general, the new part of Oslo, where earlier the industry port was located, is highly recommended.
The Astrup Fearnly museum, as well as the edward munch museum, should not be missed by anyone interested in art.
The Quartier ´Grünerløkka` offers various small shops and pretty Cafés to be discovered. A food hall called "Mathallen Oslo" located just there, offers snacks and apéro, as well as fine dinning experience and is really worth to try!
Another sensation was the botanical garden. where due to the magic atmosphere, time flies and hours melt away.
